A Day Like No Other

As Muslims, we have strong belief in the day of judgment. Meet any muslim, no matter how stoned or drunk he might be, he will still have faith in judgment day. The thing that irritates me is that yes they have faith in judgment day but they have no worries about what might happen to them if they continue their wrong doings.

Its a matter of great shame, but yes we know muslims today are as socially corrupt as any jew or christian might be. We know that we have muslims who take alcohol, we have muslims who rape, we have muslims who kill, we have muslims who conspire, true that these people bring disgrace to the name of this honourable religion.

We know that we have to face judgment day, no matter how money ladden we are or what ever festivity in life we have enjoyed, that is one thing that connects us with our after life, the life we will have the right to fully enjoy without any time limits.

Why now do we have no worry whatsoever about judgment day? Do we want our selves to be tried very harshly for all the sins that we might commit why we try to enjoy this material world of ours?

Rather we are getting worser by the minute! Alcohol is becoming common, rape and fornication is becoming a usual practice, lying and stealing are becoming part of a day's work, singing and dancing girls are being provided, people are fighting for profits, trust is used for making profit, women are literally selling themselves.

These were some signs that were told to us nearly 1430 years ago and yet the situation now is totally different. We might not know exactly when the day of judgment will be upon us, but we know one thing for sure, no matter how much we flourish in this world, we will always have to appear before the one who has made us into what we are proud to be.

I share a little video here, in it you can see that the minor signs have already occured and you can really see them happening in your daily life.

We must stop being worried about this material life, the life that we may have for 60 or 70 years, and try to make ourselves ready for judgment day so that we may be granted the eternal life in heaven where there shall be no age to our rewards.
